Elizabeth Wimmer
Paralegal
Elizabeth Wimmer is a paralegal at the law offices of Reilly Pozner LLP and has experience in construction defect litigation, insurance defense, personal injury and multi-party complex civil and commercial litigation. Elizabeth has specialized training and experience in the conceptualization and production of demonstrative exhibits, charts, digital photographic presentations and analyses utilizing computer applications. Ms. Wimmer also has experience and knowledge in document and database management as well as interacting with clients and witnesses in preparation for depositions and trial.
Prior to joining Reilly Pozner, Elizabeth was a senior paralegal for Fowler, Schimberg & Flanagan, P.C., an insurance defense firm specializing in construction defect litigation. Elizabeth acted as a case manager for the senior partner of the firm and ensured all of the active cases were prepared and ready for trial. She also was responsible for interviewing candidates for junior paralegal positions.
Before joining Fowler, Schimberg & Flanagan, Elizabeth was a paralegal for the firm of Ireland Stapleton Pryor & Pascoe P.C. where she primarily assisted with the representation of architects, engineers and other design professionals involved in business and construction disputes. Elizabeth was the go-to paralegal for computerized exhibits, timelines and databases for large multi-party construction matters. While with the firm of Ireland, Stapleton, Pryor & Pascoe, Elizabeth gained experience and knowledge in American Arbitration Association proceedings and was responsible for the scheduling and organizing of mediations and arbitrations being handled by the senior partner.
Elizabeth started her career with the United States District Court for the District of Colorado as a Deputy Clerk. During her time at USDC, Elizabeth gained knowledge of the federal rules of civil and criminal procedures as well as the local rules of practice. Ms. Wimmer also gained experience and knowledge in connection with prisoner litigation and helping the public move their claims through the United States District Court.
