Kyle C. Velte

Associate

Kyle C. Velte is an associate at Reilly Pozner LLP. She focuses on civil litigation.

Before joining Reilly Pozner, Kyle served as a law clerk for Justice Alex Martinez of the Colorado Supreme Court and as a law clerk for Chief Judge Roxanne Bailin of the 20th Judicial District of Colorado. Kyle's work in the Colorado judiciary, at both the trial and appellate level, exposed her to many areas of the both civil and criminal law. In addition to giving Kyle insight from a judicial viewpoint, her time in the judiciary provided her extensive opportunities for research and writing in preparation for practice.

Kyle received her Masters in Law from Harvard Law School and her J.D. from American University in Washington, D.C. While at American University, Kyle was on the Editorial Board of the American University Journal of Gender, Social Policy, & the Law, and received several awards, including the Journal of Gender, Social Policy & the Law Award, the Mussey Prize, presented to the student who attained the highest scholastic average during the last year of study, and National Association for Public Interest Law Exemplary Public Service Award.
