RP is pleased to announce the arrival of 2008 Summer Associates Maki Gorchynsky, Elyse Maranjian and Chong-hwa Lee.

 

• Maki Gorchynsky is a third-year law student at the University of Denver. He graduated in 2005 from the University of Colorado, Boulder with a B.A. in History and Spanish Literature. During his undergraduate days, Maki spent a year in Madrid studying Modern Peninsular Literature. In his free time, Maki enjoys rock climbing and skiing.

• Elyse Maranjian is a third-year law student at the University of Denver. She graduated in 2006 from the University of Colorado, Boulder with a B.A. in Political Science and Journalism. Elyse is a member of a trial team at DU and enjoys participating in trial competitions during the year. Next fall, she hopes to gain hands-on experience by working in the Student Law Office’s Civil Litigation Clinic.

• Chong-hwa Lee is a second-year law student at the University of Colorado. She graduated from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor with a B.A. in Political Science. Chong-hwa previously worked for a Maryland County Councilmember and the Mayor of the District of Columbia. She currently lives in Boulder where she spends her time running and doing yoga.

Maki and Elyse were recruited for their summer clerkship positions through the On-Campus Interviews at the University of Denver. Chong-hwa was recruited for her summer clerkship position through the Colorado Pledge to Diversity Program.
